Nicole has been treating women’s health, fertility, and pregnancy issues for 2 decades. In her work she has discovered that The Heart is of utmost importance on a physical, emotional, and spiritual level to our health and well-being on this Earth. She has experienced that by centering treatment on this important organ as it opens patients up to new possibilities and to the feelings of joy, contentment and bliss. 

In Chinese Medicine, the Heart is known as the emperor/empress. She sits atop her throne in health and can become displaced in trauma. Sadness, pensiveness, and worry can also agitate the Heart. The Heart and the uterus communicate via a vessel called the Bao Mai (uterus vessel). Every month Blood comes down from the Heart through the Bao Mai and settles in the uterus, allowing the uterus potential to nourish an embryo. The Bao Mai must be open and unimpeded for menstruation and conception to occur. If this link is disrupted, women can experience PMS, irregular menstrual cycles, heavy menstrual flow, spotting and fertility issues. How does this disruption occur? Stress and emotional upheavals are both the cause and effect of a blockage in the Bao Mai.

The Heart’s other important connection is to the Kidneys via the Bao Lao. When the Bao Lao is open, the Heart sends fire down to the Kidneys to control the Kidney water. Both fire and water must be in balance or else a woman can experience rising heat, hot flashes, night sweats, vaginal dryness, UTI’s, lack of a period, difficult labor and infertility. 

These connections must be open and free flowing in order for us to have a period, conceive, carry a child, have ease of labor, postpartum and menopause. 

Awakening the Heart allows one to rest in the true nature of your being and to operate from a place where you feel whole and complete. You discover a sense of purpose, act on it with good intent and a kind heart free from expectation, and you will live a happy and content life. When the empress is on her throne, you are able to manifest good things. In this state, you experience inner bliss and you are able to uplift others as the transformations and changes we make on the inner planes ripple out into the universe.
